This mountainous course features the Goose River coming into play on four of the nine holes. Sand bunkers surround some of the greens, and the wind and some trees will frequently affect your shots.

Holes #1 and #5 feature dogleg fairways. One hundred year old pine trees set in a countryside setting with occasional glimpses of the wildlife and waterfowl inhabiting the pine groves and wetlands compliment your golfing experience. There is an additional men's tee that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

Par for the course is 71 if doing a double loop 18. From the back tees the course plays to 6,145 yards. From the foward tees the course plays to 5,208 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 1, a par-5 that plays to 581 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 163 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for #1, the 581 yard par-5 challenge, this is #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Goose River Golf Club is # 6, the 163 yard par-3.
