Carroll Country Club

Carroll Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Carroll, Iowa.

Carroll Country Club first opened for play in 1923.The course was designed by Jack Hawkins.

This course was built on rolling terrain, so expect uneven lies. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on many holes, including #14, a 584-yard, par 5, with a dogleg left fairway that leads to a well-bunkered green encompassed by water.  George Mackanos, at the time, head golf professional and superintendent, added the back nine and redesigned the existing holes in the 1970's.

Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,219 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,724 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 14, a par-5 that plays to 584 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 141 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 5, a 407 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 17, a 154 yard par-3.
