Beechwood Golf Course was designed by Bill Diddel. The course first opened for play in 1933.

The course is somewhat tight placing a premium on accuracy. The course has multiple ponds that come into play on 12 holes. The greens are undulating, well bunkered, and about half of them are elevated.

Watch out for # 4, a 430 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 11, a 351 yard par-4.
