Sahm Golf Course, originally named North Eastway, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Sahm Golf Course first opened for play in 1963. The course was designed by Pete Dye. Sahm was one of the first designs he did, after nine holes at El Dorado (Royal Oaks), and 18 holes for the Dr. Harlan Hatcher for the Michigan University.
This course was built on fairly flat terrain and is easy to walk. Water hazards come into play on a few holes.
The signature hole is #12, a 415-yard, par 4, which has a dogleg left, tree-lined fairway with a creek flowing down the entire right side, and then requiring an approach shot to an elevated green.
Blue tees: par-70, 6,437 yards
White tees: par-70, 6,061 yards
Red tees: par-70, 5,459 yards
