Griffith Golf Center, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Griffith, Indiana.
Griffith Golf Center first opened for play in 1961.
This flat par 3 course is very tight and features many sand bunkers throughout its design. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on a number of holes. The course is lit and heated for night play.
The signature hole is #18, a 208-yard, par 3, which requires a tee shot to a small, postage stamp-sized green.
Blue tees: par-54, 2,653 yards
Red tees: par-54, 2,016 yards
The course closed in 2007. The city acquired the land in 2012 at a reported cost of $500,000.
