Dyes Walk Country Club

Dye's Walk Country Club, previously named Royal Oak Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Greenwood, Indiana.

The back nine opened for play in 1962. The back nine was the “first design” of course architects Pete and Alice Dye. Course architect Gary Kern designed what is now the front nine in the early 1970s.

The course is draped across rolling terrain. Water comes into play on at least 5 holes. The greens are moderate in size and have some undulation. All greens are protected by sand bunkers. 

The signature hole is #2, a 319 yard, par-4 that has an oversized oak tree in the middle of the fairway.

Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,749 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,317 yards. The longest holes on the course are #s 4 and 16, both par-5s that plays to 565 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 13, a par-3 that plays to 146 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 5, a 464-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Dye's Walk Golf Course is # 13, the 146 yard par-3.
