Old Hickory golf course first opened for play in 1992. The course was designed by Bill McChesney.
Old Hickory is a hilly, course built by removing as few trees as possible from a hilly, wooded area. The course has a number of short holes to include four par-4s under 300-yards. The 2 long holes in the layout are 550-yards each, both double doglegs. The front nine is rolling with plenty of elevation changes. The back nine is downright hilly and comparatively mean.
#12 is a long hole with a large lake to the left.
#16 is a 435-yard par-5 that has a left-to-right sloping, uphill fairway that doglegs right thorough a narrow opening in a grove to a protected green.
Old Hickory Golf Course plays to 5,805 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 68.2 with a slope rating of 120.
