Countryside Golf Course is a Public, 36 hole golf facility located in Mundelein, Illinois. The facility has two regulation eighteen hole courses. They are The Traditional Course / East Course, and the Prairie Course / West Course.
The Traditonal /East Course opened for play in 1992. The course was designed by Bob Lohmann. The Praire / West Course opened for play in 1927.
The Traditional Course has water hazards coming into play on some holes. The most severe dogleg fairway is on hole #2, a 538-yard, par 5. This course's greens are large and well bunkered. The Traditional Course, with bentgrass tees and tree-lined fairways, offers golfers scenic and challenging rounds of play.
The West Course is the older of the two courses. There are several trees lining the fairways, two ponds that come into play on a couple holes, and sand bunkers throughout the entire course.
