Green Hills Golf Club

Green Hills Golf Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Mount Vernon, Illinois.

Green Hills Golf Club first opened for play in 1920 as a nine hole layout. The course was designed by Arnold Hertenstin. Gary Kern designed the back nine in the 1970's.

Green Hills Golf Club has tree-lined fairways which afford generous landing areas. Water hazards come into play on three holes. Sand bunkers come into play on a number of holes.

The course plays to over 6,700 yards from the championship tees, features Bermuda fairways and Bent grass greens.
