Chick Evans Golf Course first opened for play in 1910. The course was designed by Dick Nugent.
Chick Evans is a short 5,691 yards, yet satisfying, 18-hole course. The course is named after Chick Evans who in addition to being the first amateur golfer to win both the U.S. Open and the U.S. Amateur Open, founded the Chick Evans Scholarship program for caddies.
The Chicago River cuts right through the center of the course offering beautiful scenery and a formidable obstacle for golfers who play there.
