Fairfield Golf Club trace its roots from a private "backyard" golf course to the 18-hole course we see today that was opened to the public in 2002. The vourse was designed by Charles Krause.
Fairfield Golf Club was years in the making. The course is owned and operated by the third generation of Krause's. Charlie Jr. and his father bought the property in the 1960's and immediately began turning the farm into turf with a ten acre practice area. During the 1970's, Charlie began building the course as it is today in his back yard. By 1995 he had completed nine holes. With his family's encouragement, it was decided to build an 18-hole course and have it open to the public. The course opened in 2002. Unfortunately, Charlie had passed to glory prior to the course completion.
Fairfield Golf Club plays to a par-71 and measures 5,825 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 66.2 with a slope rating of 110.
