Bon Vivant Country Club is a Public, 36 hole golf facility located in Bourbonnais, Illinois. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses, The Championship Course and The North Course.
The Bon Vivant Country Club, North Course first opened in 1997. The course was designed by David Esler.
The North Course is more of links-style design with grass mounds placed along the fairways. The layout doesn't include the Scottish-style rough outlining the holes, but there are twenty-eight different types of grasses and wildflowers planted throughout the design. The signature hole on the The North Course layout is #16, a 168-yard, par 3, which requires a carry of all but twelve yards over water.
The North Course at the Bon Vivant Country Club measures 6,653 yards from the back tees and plays to a par-72. The course rating is 71.2 with a slope rating of 118
