Dempsey Ridge Golf Course

Dempsey Ridge Golf Course, previously namedThunder Canyon Golf Course, is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in the Dempsey Creek valley south of the resort town of Lava Hot Springs where Merrick and Dempsey Creek roads meet. Lava is just eleven miles from I-15 (McCammon exit) going east on Highway 30, with the course 3 miles south of town.

The course first opened for play in 1970.
