Forest Heights Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Statesboro, Georgia.
The Forest Heights Country Club Golf Course is recognized as one of the finest in the Southeast. Forest Heights is the site of the Annual Southeastern Amateur Golf Tournament, the Chris Schenkel/E-Z Go Invitational, and has hosted the Southern Conference Tournament, the GA. State Golf Association Four-Ball Tournament, and many more.
Located in a small rural community in Southeast Georgia, Forest Heights Country Club could truly be considered a "diamond in the rough". The course conditions and course layout make the course enjoyable to play year round for all levels of golfers.
From the championship tees, the yardage measures out to 6962 yards, and challenges even the most skilled golfer. Although the tee shots are relatively forgiving, most of the golfers work begins when they reach the undulating greens. The greens have very subtle breaks that make them very difficult to read and putt. This makes scoring low a tough task over what seems to be an "easy course".
