Martin Downs Country Club is a Private, 36 hole golf facility located in Palm City, Florida. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses. They are, The Crane Creek Golf Course and The Osprey Creek Golf Course.
The newer of the two courses is Osprey Creek. Osprey Creek first opened for play in 1982. The course was designed by Charles Ankrom. The Crane Creek Course opened in 1976. Crane Creek was designed by Charles Ankrom and Arthur Young.
Both courses have generous fairways, but there are trees, sand bunkers, water hazards and a defined cut of rough that can provide difficult situations for all skill levels of golfer. The greens on both courses are undulating and average in size and speed. The Tower Course is the favorite of club members, while the Crane Course is liked more by the advanced golfers.
