Wekiva Golf Club, previously named Diamond Players Club Wekiva, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Longwood, Florida, only 4 miles from exit 48 on Florida's I-4.
The course was designed by Ward Northrup. The course first opened for play in 1972.
Carved out of a wooded setting, Wekiva has more than its share of doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
The course has mature oaks, pines, and palms; undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.
The course plays to an 18-hole par of 72 and measures 6,849 yards.
The signature hole is #17, a 160-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot across water.
