Detailed description

Dye Preserve Golf Club, originally named Cypress Links Golf Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Jupiter, Florida.

In the 1980s a developer bought the then-existing Cypress Links Golf Course and in 1988 he had Pete Dye rebuild it. The course is located in a a gated equestrian community on the edge of the Cypress Creek Natural Area (a nature preserve). The location is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including a huge number of birds (including bald eagles and sand hill cranes), and cows (yes, cows).

In 2002, Dye was invited back to reconstruct Cypress Links and The Dye Preserve was born (the cows remained).

The course is both long and challenging.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7,301 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,154 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 15, a par-5 that plays to 568 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 170 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 4, a 469 yard par-4 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 12, a 429 yard par-4.
