Hollywood Beach Golf Resort is a Public, 27 hole golf facility located in Hollywood, Florida. The facility has two courses, The Championship Course (18-holes) and the Eco Golf Course (9-hole executive course).
Hollywood Beach Golf Resort Championship Course first opened for play in 1925. The course was designed by Donald J. Ross, Mark Mahannah redesigned the course in 1955. More recently the course was rennovated by Kipp Schulties.
This resort / public golf facility consists of the 30 room boutique Hollywood Beach Hotel surrounded by the 18 Hole championship golf course.
The course was built on fairly flat terrain, and the fairways are wide open but tree lined. There are some elevated tees, and water hazards come into play on eight holes. The large, sloping, fast greens are well protected by sand bunkers
