Regatta Bay Golf & Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Destin, along the Emerald Coast of Northwest Florida.
Regatta Bay Golf & Country Club first opened for play in 1998. The course was designed by Robert Walker.
Walker designed each hole differently keeping the natural vegetation in mind to add hazards that blend into the course flawlessly. Bunkers complete with fingers and bays make every shot placement important and having the self-discipline to play conservatively when needed is an invaluable trait on this Championship course.
This upscale eighteen hole course is situated on rolling terrain, with a front nine that is primarily carved through wetlands and protected nature preserves. The greens are average-sized, fast and firm year-round. The fairways are deceivingly receptive, due to the integration of wetlands and trees. Landing areas are gracious. Ten holes are affected by water on this course.
