The front nine sits amid marsh and trees and water dominate the back nine. Lots of water hazards can cause problems as well as the many bunkers.
The Golf Club of Amelia Island golf course can be a real test. # 2 is a dogleg left that can be cut by hitting over the trees, but there is water to the left as well. At 572 yards, probably best to play conservatively unless you're very accurate. The 490-yard 15th, has a two-marsh carries, one short and one long. The green is very elevated - you have to hit over yet another marsh to reach it - and falls off sharply in front, to a deep pot bunker right.
