Country Club of New Canaan, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in New Canaan, Connecticut.
The Country Club of New Canaan first opened in 1893. The club has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 golf clubs established in the U.S. The course was designed by Willie Park, Jr. The course was redesigned by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. in 1960.
The Country Club of New Canaan golf course is a wooded course and very tight. The fairways are tree lined, and the small greens are fast. The terrain varies from flat to hilly, yet it is still easy to walk.
New Canaan facility is a par-71 course that plays to a maximum distance of 6,442 yards for a course rating of 71.5 and a slope rating of 132.
