Grand Lake Golf Course is a Public 18 holes golf course located in Grand Lake, Colorado.
Grand Lake Golf Course first opened for play in 1964. The course was designed by Dick Phelps.
The course was carved out of the woods at an elevation of 8,420 feet and borders Rocky Mountain National Park. The majestic Rocky Mountains, capped by the winter snows for most of the year, tower high above offer panoramic views.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees the course plays to 6,570 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 529 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 157 yards from the back tees. The middle tees measure 6,303 yards and the forward tees play to 5,471 yards.
There are numerous water hazards but only 14 sand bunkers to about which to worry, most of them greenside.
