Lost Canyons Golf Club is a Public, 36 hole golf Facility located in Simi Valley, California.
Lost Canyons is Ventura County's only 36-hole public golf facility. The facility has two 18-hole championship courses. They are The Sky Course and The Shadow Course. Both courses were designed by Pete Dye with consulting help from Masters Champion Fred Couples.
The Sky Course first opened for play in 2000. The Shadow Course opened for play in 2002.
Although both courses were designed by Pete Dye, they have distinctly different styles. The Sky Course flows atop the canyon ridge line and looks down on the Shadow Course which winds along the canyon floor.
The Sky Course is a par 72 and measures 7,285 yards from the black tees. The Shadow Course tops out at 7,005 yards and also plays to a par of 72.
The Shadow Course at Lost Canyons offers an ever-changing combination of light and shadows that only add to the beauty and enjoyment of this course. The course sits on land that Pete Dye called, “the best suited and the most naturally beautiful land that I have ever had the opportunity to design uponâ€.
