Located on the edge of the Mojave Desert, in Palmdale, Desert Aire Golf Course is a flat, regulation length, 9-hole public track with few distinguishing features besides the Joshua trees that are native to the area. It is not a difficult course. It is not a course anyone is dying to play. But, it is there, and people will come. The price is right, and the staff is accomodating. If you want a laid back nice round of golf to practice up before Pebble Beach, this might be just the ticket.
