Silver Lakes Country Club is a Private, 27 hole golf course located in Helendale, California. Silver Lakes has three 9-hole golf courses, The North Course, The South Course, and The East Course. These 9-hole courses can be paired to form three different 18-hole golf courses, North/South, North/East and South/East.
Silver Lakes is a planned urban development located in the town of Helendale, approximately 16 miles northwest of Victorville. It was founded in early 1970's by Justin Dart as the realization of his dream for an ideal resort community. The heart of the project is two lakes covering approximately 277 acres. Another 210 acres has been devoted to their championship 27-hole PGA-rated golf course which has attracted world class golfers. Homes have been built along the fair-ways and overlooking the greens.
The Clubhouse has an inspiring view of the North Lake and the ring of mountains on the horizon,
The East/South Course is the easiest combination because it is shorter and has less water play. All three courses have wide fairways and greens that are medium in speed and size. In addition, lakes come into play on all three course, plus the terrain is flat and easy to walk. These courses are located in the middle of the desert. Numerous sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course design.
