Auburn Valley Country Club is a semi-private, 18 hole golf course located in Auburn, California.
The course was designed by Bob Bissett and Larry Curtola. Auburn Valley opened for play in 1960.
Water hazards (thirteen ponds) come into play on fourteen holes. Some of the fairways are tree lined, and sand bunkers come into play on the fairways and around the greens. The signature hole is #10, a picturesque 425-yard, par 4, requiring an approach shot to a well-bunkered green.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 7,000 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,525 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 5, a par-5 that plays to 572 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 183 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 1, a 433 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 16, a 221 yard par-3.
