Cumberland Lake Golf Course first opened for play in 1968. The course was designed by Bill Amick. The course was redesigned in 1996 by Jeff Pate.
Cumberland Lake Golf Course was carved out of a forest. The terrain varies between flat and hilly and is easy to walk. The greens are large and fast, and the fairways are tree lined. Water hazards and sand bunkers come into play throughout the course.
