Inverness Country Club

Inverness Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Birmingham, Alabama.

Inverness Country Club Golf Course first opened for play in 1973. The course was designmed by George W. Cobb. In 2006 the course was completely renovated by golf course architect, Bill Bergin.

Inverness has narrow fairways, the greens are small, there are numerous trees lining the fairways, and lakes come into play at least four times. The course is located within a residential development and its terrain is rolling. One of the most difficult holes to play is #12, a long par 4, with a dogleg right and uphill fairway.

Par for the Inverness Country Club Golf Course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6672 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4702 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 14, a par-5 that plays to 540 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 159 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 7, a 402 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 11, a 175 yard par-3.
